Meet the Speakers
Visionary speakers from Vietnam and the global Systems Engineering community
Dr. Quoc Do is a ONE KBR Technical Fellow, Technical Director in Systems Engineering at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, and Systems Engineering Director, Submarine Rotational Force West – Priority Works. He was the Technical Governance Manager of the Submarine Systems Engineering executive directorate within Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG). He is an expert in digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, defence architecture frameworks, governance, and assurance. He is a Fellow (FIEAust) and Chartered Systems Engineer (CPEng) of Engineers Australia and is well respected within the defence and commercial sectors. He is also a nationally and internationally recognised systems engineering leader, qualified as a DSS (Defence Support Service) Level 5 Pre-eminent Consultant in three categories (Systems Engineering, Capability Definition Documentation, and Systems Architecture and Integration), and inducted by the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Leadership Institute.
Dr. Do has made significant contributions to the systems engineering profession through various leadership roles, including current Asia-Oceania Sector Director of INCOSE, past president of the INCOSE Australia Chapter, past president of the Systems Engineering Society of Australia (SESA), former Associated Director for Technical Review of INCOSE, and founding Chair of the INCOSE international Model-Based Conceptual Design (MBCD) Working Group.
Mr. Nguyen Dac Trung graduated as an Engineer in 1996 and a Master in 1998 from Hanoi University of Science and Technology on the field of Mechanical Engineering. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Nguyen Dac Trung did his PhD at Dresden University of Technology, Germany.
Currently, Mr. Nguyen Dac Trung is working as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Metal Forming Technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
He is teaching many courses such as: Plastic Deformation Mechanics, Metal Forming Mechanics and Theory, Numerical Simulation of Forming Processes, Material Processing, Advanced Metal Forming Technology.
Associate Professor Nguyen Dac Trung has compiled many specialized books, conducted many research projects and published more than 100 specialized articles, including more than 50 articles in prestigious international journals. He has been a visiting professor at many universities around the world, participated in numerous international research projects and supervised many graduate students.
Ir. Habibi Husain Arifin (OCSMP, CSEP, CESAM) is a systems engineer and digital engineering specialist with over fifteen years of experience across industry and government. At Dassault Systèmes, he serves as an Industry Process Consultant, helping manufacturers adopt MBSE and SysML on the 3DEXPERIENCE and CATIA Magic platform, linking requirements, architecture, verification, and PLM.
Previously he supported CATIA No Magic customers as an Industry Process Expert Specialist and worked at No Magic as a Solutions Architect. Earlier roles included technical leadership and consulting in Indonesia. He holds an M.S. in Computer Software Engineering from Assumption University and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from Universitas Trisakti, and is a licensed professional engineer.
Certified in SysML, INCOSE CSEP, and CESAMES Associate, he promotes digital thread practices, model driven AI, and standards compliance. Habibi contributes to IEEE, ACM, and INCOSE venues and helps teams accelerate development while improving traceability, quality, and compliance.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Silicate Materials Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam in 2007 (Talented Engineer Program). He obtained his Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Ulsan, Korea in 2010, and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minho, Portugal in 2014.
His doctoral research focused on precipitation hardening mechanisms, grain refinement, and corrosion behavior of aluminum–scandium alloys. He began his research career as a Researcher at the Institute for Building Materials, Ministry of Construction, Vietnam, later working as a Researcher at the University of Ulsan, Korea, and as a Ph.D. Researcher at the University of Minho, Portugal. He then advanced into industry, holding senior positions including Senior Material Engineer and Engineering Team Leader at Bosch Vietnam, Testing & Validation Manager and later Testing & Validation Director at VinFast, and Project Advisor & Business Development Manager at FEV Group.
Since 2023, Dr. Tuan has served as Co-Founder & CEO of Vietsol Co., Ltd., an automotive engineering company in Vietnam providing services in Systems Engineering, Requirement Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Model-Based Testing, EE Integration & Troubleshooting, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security. Under his leadership, Vietsol became an IBM Engineering Silver Business Partner. Dr. Tuan is also a member of INCOSE Asia-Oceania, where he contributes to advancing Systems Engineering practices and fostering collaboration between academia and industry in Vietnam and the wider region.
Mr. Sơn Phan is a Systems and Product Development Engineer with experience across the automotive industry, including roles at Stellantis, Renault, Marelli, and Metalliance. He earned an Engineer’s degree in Mechatronics from UTC Compiègne (2015) and an Executive Certificate in Systems Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO (2020).
In Vietnam, he has contributed to the development of Driver Monitoring Systems at VinAI and currently serves as Feature Owner at VinFast, focusing on In-cabin monitoring features (IMS). He is also an active member of INCOSE, supporting the growth of Systems Engineering in the Asia-Oceania region.
Mr. Philippe GICQUEL, Engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris (1991), he worked from 1992 to 2015 in the automotive R&D field at EDAG and PSA Peugeot Citroën. From April 2013 to April 2015, he was President at GENIVI International Alliance (now COVESA), who defined open source software standards for the automotive Infotainment.
Mr. Romain Horcada earned his Engineering degree in Applied Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, and Simulation from ENSTA Paris in 2021, and subsequently completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation at Université Paris-Saclay (2020–2021). During his studies, he participated in several applied research projects, including simulating galaxy formation using C++, modeling planetary atmospheres with Python, and simulating the Ariane rocket launch with Matlab.
He is currently a Business Developer at Obeo, based in Melbourne, where he leads Obeo’s business development across the Asia–Oceania region. His focus is on promoting the adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) through the Arcadia method and the open-source Capella tool, supporting both industry and academia in their digital engineering journey. His areas of expertise include numerical modeling and simulation, applied mathematics in engineering, and model-based systems development.
Truong Thu Huong is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Communication Engineering at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam. At HUST, she combines her roles in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She is also a founding member of the Future Internet Group at the Advanced Networks and Smart Applications Laboratory (ANSA).
Her research interests include next-generation networks, multimedia communications, QoE/QoS optimization, extended reality (XR) streaming, AI-driven networking, network security, and green networking. She has published extensively in leading journals and has been actively engaged in international collaborations on networking, edge/cloud computing, network security, and immersive media.
Her publications, co-authored with students and colleagues, have received three IEEE Best Paper Awards. She has also been honored with three Distinguished Lecturer Awards given by Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. She also received the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit. She serves regularly as a reviewer for high-impact international journals and as a program committee member and session chair at IEEE conferences.
Mr. Clairy is an evangelist in Siemens Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) across different industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy Equipment and Electronics). By leveraging on Siemens Xcelerator portfolios of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Integrated Electrical Solution (IES) & Simulation (STS) solutions, we help Customers across APAC in their Digital Transformation journey.
He obtained a Master of Aeronautical Engineering from University of Bristol, UK, and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Mr. Mudit is a Co-founder and Director at BlueKei Solutions and President of the INCOSE India Chapter. He has over 17 years of industrial experience. He has worked on new product developments, innovation projects, robotics, modelling and simulations in the field of Automotive Electronics, Agriculture and Constructions equipment. He has been the Enterprise MBSE SME for John Deere prior to BlueKei and was responsible for driving enterprise-wide adoption of MBSE. During his career he has worked as a Systems Engineer in various capacities, and has driven SE for Innovation, Automotive Network Analysis and Management, System of System for Agriculture Solution Systems, Competency development and Digital Engineering adoption for large OEMs and Suppliers.
Mudit has master’s certificate in Systems Engineering from MIT, Massachusetts, and a masters in Embedded Systems from BIT Pilani. He is passionate about solving problems through Systems Engineering approach, automation and transitioning the industry from Document based Systems Engineering to Model based Systems Engineering with strong belief in Digital Continuity.

Mr. Piyush has expertise in prototyping new concepts , development, integration, and deployment of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) across automotive platforms , System Engineering and Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).
Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, production level programs, and delivering innovative ADAS solutions that enhance vehicle safety, functionality, and user experience. Experience in camera-based perception algorithms , software integration, and ASPICE process standards . Passionate about driving innovation, Piyush leverages generative al enabled frameworks to bring cutting-edge advancements to the automotive sector.
